Colonial Mumbai Walking Tour
Begin this tour at Horniman Circle and see the grand Asiatic Library.
Later see the fantastic Flora Fountain and pass through the old streets of the city from where bankers and traders used to operate in 18th and 19th century. Pass through the heritage buildings of Central Telegraph Office, Bombay High Court, City Civil and Sessions Court, Eros Cinema, Western Railway headquarters and Churchgate railway station.
Walk through erstwhile Esplanade area and land up to see the masterpieces of the Gothic architecture designed by F.W. Stevens, the Victoria Terminus and Municipal Corporation building.
Walk through the Mint Road and Reserve bank of India, cross the harbour area and old Assembly House of the then Bombay Province and reach at the famous Gateway of India. Enjoy a 45 minutes boat ride in the Arabian Sea and see the marvelous Taj Mahal Palace hotel.
Roam around on Colaba Causeway, a bustling shopping street.
