Day 1 - Kickoff from Antigua
Arrive in Antigua at any time and head out on your own to explore this uber cool city. It is one of the best-restored Spanish colonial cities in the world and there are lots to see, so buckle up! Do get some pre-tour accommodation done if you really want to dig deep and learn about this Guatemalan city.
NOTE- Antigua's nearest airport is in Guatemala City, Guatemala. Don't get caught flying into the Caribbean island nation of Antigua; it's nowhere near the start of this tour!
Day 2 - Across the border and into Copán
Check another country off your list as you get your passport stamped and crossover into Honduras today. The colonial highland town of Copán is famous for its Mayan ruins which are truly unique among Mayan cities.
Day 3 - Open day in Copán
Copán being home to some fascinating Mayan ruins has got your day’s itinerary sorted. Explore the nearby hills on horseback, walk through the Mayan ruins or enjoy a relaxing soak in a local hot spring.
Day 4 - Make your way to Roatán
After a long day of travel through the hills of Honduras arrive in the Caribbean paradise of Roatán and get ready to discover its marine treasures!
Day 5 - 6 Fun time exploring Roatán
Live it up Caribbean style, whether lounging on the white sand beaches or getting in on some underwater action. After all, it is called a scuba-diving haven. Enjoy the free days touring around the Caribbean coast and make most of what Roatán has got to offer.
Day 7 - Make your way to Granada
Fly in style to Managua and continue onward to Granada, Nicaragua. Granada’s colonial charm is complemented by nature’s doses like active volcanoes, beautiful lakes-- and all of this is sure to keep you captivated during your time in Granada.
Day 8 - 9 Free time in Granada
There are over 350+ tiny islands found around Granada. So hop aboard a boat and get ready for a day out in Lake Nicaragua. There are lots of other activities to choose from and also an authentic marketplace to stack up on Nicaraguan handicrafts for souvenirs and gifts back home! On Day 8 join us for an orientation walk through the beautiful colonial streets of Granada and later have a big night out with your newly made friends and celebrate late into the night.
Day 10 - Off to Isla de Ometepe
Ready for some more stamps in your passport? Cross the border in a ferry over Lake Nicaragua and arrive in Ometepe Island. You can catch up on your rest and relax or you can go about exploring the island.
Day 11 - Open day in Isla de Ometepe
Would you like to hike a volcano or swing through the trees like Tarzan? Ometepe Island’s got it all! There are lots to do on the island and there is an equal amount of fun stuff to do as well, so try and tick off as many off of your list as you can!
Day 12 - From Isla de Ometepe to Monteverde
Take a ferry back to the mainland and cross the border into Costa Rica adding some more ink to your passport. Hoot Hoot! Continue on till you hit the cloud forest air at Monteverde and spend the rest of the day amidst clouds.
Day 13 - Explore Monteverde
Make good use of this free time and get to exploring this natural gem. You can choose to visit the cool cloud forest or a coffee plantation or even zip line over the canopy!
Day 14 - Onward to La Fortuna
Gear up adventure seekers for you’re off to the base of adventure today. This town near the Arenal Volcano offers a wide spread of adventure activities that give you more than your fix of adrenaline. Swim in the chilly La Fortuna waterfall or go for a thrilling night hike around the foot of the volcano.
Day 15 - Get busy touring La Fortuna
There are options abound to keep yourself busy and lots to see as well. So use this free day wisely in discovering La Fortuna as you please.
Day 16 - Head out to San José
Travel through the mountains for a final dose of exploration in the capital city of San José. Dig deeper and discover the many charms of this city!
Day 17 - Depart from San José or embark on another adventure
Every good thing comes to an end and so has this trip! You can depart at any time and hop on your homebound flight. But if you’re not ready to leave yet, you can simply choose from any of our trips or talk to your trip coordinator to help make arrangements for your journey ahead!

Accommodation - Simple hotels or guesthouse (twin-share) (11 nts), sleeper train (1 nt), homestay (2 nt).
A variety of styles of hotels/guest houses are used in India. These can vary in terms of service, efficiency and cleanliness. In many instances they might not be like what you are used to back home. Power cuts can and are a regular occurrence in many places, especially throughout North and Central India. Although a number of hotels have generators there may be times when these won’t work. It is also recommended when you are in your room to lock the door, as staff will sometime enter without reason.
Meals Included - 1 lunch
Eating is a big part of traveling. Travelling with Go Discover Abroad you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. Vegetarians will be able to find a huge range of different foods - India is vegetarian heaven.
