The first and the most important things to remember is that Kenya is a conservative society and it is better to dress accordingly respecting their cultural norms. Opt for lightweight modest clothing in the summer months and avoid black or any dark colors which may attract additional heat during the day. The months of March-May and Nov-Dec is characterized by long and short rainfalls respectively and if you’re down for visiting Kenya in this season, then be sure to pack in a good rain jacket. Months of June-Oct, Jan-Feb offer hot, dry weather good for wildlife watching so you can pack in a good dose of neutral colors and easy breezy clothes. Also, keep a light sweater and extra socks on your packing list for you never know when the mercury might take a dip in the nights.
