Then join us for an adventurous family holiday and experience Thailand like never before. It'll not only be a unique exploration for you, but your kids will also get to travel and do things that they've never tried before. Imagine how wonderful it would be to attend a Thai cooking class, together, and learn the hacks of preparing a perfect plate of Thai noodles! Also, you'll get to go for a hike through the jungles and dive into a waterfall pool! Have we already got you excited? Note: Family adventures are designed for groups traveling with children between the ages of 6 and 17 years. Your group must have a child in order to book a Family Tour, and anyone under age 18 must be accompanied by an adult. We have planned this trip so that kids can enjoy some quality time with their parents during a holiday and everyone gets to learn something from the journey. You will be traveling as part of a group of families with other children. The itinerary has been designed with the needs of the whole family in mind.
Day 1 - Welcome to Bangkok
Our coordinator will be there at Suvarnabhumi Airport to greet you once you arrive, and then you'll be taken to the accommodation where you can take rest after your long flight. You can head out to explore the nearby streets and markets if you wish to.
Day 2 - Bangkok
It's time to explore Bangkok! Get ready for a longtail boat ride on the busy Chao Phraya River with your guide. Later that day, you'll get a chance to immerse yourself in the Thai Buddhist culture and visit the famous reclining Buddha at Wat Pho, covered in gold leaf. For the rest of the day, you'll be free to choose where you wish to go. You can opt to visit the Grand Palace and the National Museum, or just explore the bustling markets and binge on some delicious local Thai cuisine.
Day 3 - Bangkok to Kanchanaburi
Today, you and your family will be traveling to one of the most beautiful destinations of Thailand - Kanchanaburi. Crossing the bridge over the River Kwai, we'll head out to explore Erawan National Park. We'll also spend some time at the Erawan Waterfalls, where you can take a dip in the turquoise pools, and opt to hike in the jungle to spot monkeys. The little ones in your group will absolutely love it.
Day 4 - Kanchanaburi to Chiang Mai
We'll be heading towards Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ayutthaya served as Thailand’s capital from the 14th to 18th centuries, and its beauty is absolutely breathtaking. This archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries, and statues. Tonight, you'll be catching a train for an overnight journey to Chiang Mai.
Day 5 - 6 Chiang Mai
Away from the chaos of South Thailand, this town in the North will surely leave you in awe of its beauty and tranquility. On the first day, we'll take you for a city tour of Chiang Mai. We'll pay a visit to the Wat Phra That Doi Suthep temple - one of the most popular temples in Thailand, located at an altitude of 3,520 feet. It would be amazing to get a glimpse of the monks chanting here. The next day, you can head out to the market, pick up some ingredients and attend a Thai cooking class. It would be great to try your hands in cooking some noodles and curries.
Day 7 - Chiang Mai to Koh Chang
From Chiang Mai, you'll be flying back to Bangkok and then travel to Koh Chang by road. One of the largest and most popular islands of Thailand, Koh Chang is known for its idyllic beaches and lush green jungles.
Day 8 - 10 Koh Chang
For these 3 days, go for boat rides, try snorkeling or scuba diving, chill on the tropical beaches, hike through the Mu Ko Chang National Park, and binge on some delicious fresh seafood - indulge in fresh fish, crab, and squid! Have as much fun as you want - after all this is a family holiday!
Day 11 - Koh Chang to Bangkok
You’ll be returning back to Bangkok today, by afternoon. You have enough time in the evening to pick up souvenirs and do some last minute shopping. In case you have something else in your checklist, then go for it!
Day 12 - Bangkok
The amazing and adventurous family holiday comes to an end! It's time to say 'Goodbye Thailand' and head back home! You can book your return flight tickets from Bangkok. In case you need airport drop, get in touch with your coordinator.

Accommodation for family trips has been chosen to give the best location and facilities for your family. They may vary depending on the location and destination, but designed to give the most comfortable experience while travelling. You and your family will generally be sharing rooms on a twin or triple share basis. These rooms will be either adjoining or located at close proximity to each other. Families will be roomed together and not with other families everywhere we stay. If you have any special hotel requests at the time of booking, let us know and we will do what we can to accommodate them.

Eating is a big part of traveling. Travelling with Go Discover Abroad you experience the vast array of wonderful food that is available out in the world. Generally meals are not included in the trip price when there is a choice of eating options, to give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat. It also gives you more budgeting flexibility, though generally food is cheap. Our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There is no obligation to do this though. Your CEO will be able to suggest favourite restaurants during your trip. Included breakfasts will usually be asian style consisting of noodles or rice soup or bread and eggs. Vegetarians will be able to find a range of different foods, although in some areas the choice maybe limited. While trekking in remote regions food is included, plentiful and made of fresh local ingredients.
