The East Coast of Australia will reveal its beauty and you'll be on your toes, all the time, not to miss out anything!
Day 1 - Arrival in Sydney
Welcome to Australia - a continent that'll never fail to mesmerize you! You can arrive at any time and directly check into the hostel. You can plan for a pre-night in Sydney and opt for the Sydney Adrenaline Bundle to titillate your nerves. But don’t get too lost in exploring as you need to head back to the welcome meeting at the hotel in the evening to join the others in the group.
Day 2 - Exploring Sydney
It's your free day to explore Sydney! You can opt to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge, hop on a jet boat ride through the harbor, or chill out at Bondi Beach. Check with your fellow travelers what they plan to do, and maybe you can all hit the beach shacks together for some beer and amazing seafood!
Day 3 - Sydney to Tamworth
Get started towards Hunter Valley for a wine tasting experience and continue your journey towards Tamworth for an authentic taste of Australian country living.
Day 4 - Tamworth to Yamba
Next up! The quaint beach town of Yamba passing through the colossal Eastern Highlands or the Great Dividing Range. You can explore the many beaches, go for a swim or relax and sunbathe when there. En route to Yamba, we’ll also make a short stop at the Raspberry lookout and Boundary Falls in Gibraltar National Park.
Day 5 - Yamba to Byron Bay
Continuing up the coast, next we hit up the surfer town of Byron Bay, otherwise known as an alternative hippie paradise. With plenty of time on your hands, you can head out to the lighthouse and get a chance to witness gigantic whales swimming off the shore. Oh, and there’s also a surfing lesson included for you. So pucker up and get ready to hit the waves!
Day 6 - A free day in Byron Bay
You have the entire day open to explore the exciting town of Byron Bay at your own pace. Or you can simply unwind on the beach or hang out at the Byron Bay Brewery. But if you want to get your adrenaline pumping, we have a few activities in store!

Accommodation will be varied throughout your adventure. When camping on this tour, you will be provided with an Aussie 'swag'—a canvas bedroll with built-in padding and perfect for a night under the stars. Towels and soap are not always provided at overnight stops, so it's best to bring your own for bathing. Bathroom and showering facilities are shared and are very rarely en-suite. Multi-share accommodation, on a single-sex basis (typically 4-6 people per room), is very common in Australia and is the way you will be spending most of your nights. We have specifically chosen unique accommodations to give local flavour to your trip. COUPLES: Please note that due to the types of accommodation used in Australia, couples will likely be split into separate rooms where we use multi-share hostels. Pending availability, couples may be able to pay extra while on tour to have their own room in some destinations. PRE/POST ACCOMMODATION: If booking additional nights before or after your tour, accommodation will be multi-share on a mixed gender basis.
Meals Included - 4 breakfasts, 1 dinner
Please note that most included breakfasts will consist of cereal, milk, bread and spreads, juice, tea and instant coffee. Having a simple breakfast together most days allows us the flexibility to get on the road early and get from point A to B all that much faster.
