Itinerary
Day 1
Welcome to Sri Lanka !
Are you excited to kick start your amazing trip in Sri Lanka? You'll arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Colombo, where our guide will meet you and transfer you to the hotel in Negombo (11 am to 9 pm time window for the included transfer – otherwise additional $25 will be charged per person for whoever arrives outside this window). You can unwind and get refreshed after your long flight!

Day 2
Heading off to Galle
Enjoy a hearty breakfast and set out for Galle. We'll stop midway at a Turtle hatchery and learn more about the conservation program that happens there. We'll carry on with our journey to Galle, where you'll check-in at the hotel, and enjoy a sumptuous lunch along with an orientation session on the trip follows.Post lunch, we'll head towards Galle Fort to experience the historical vibes at this UNESCO Heritage Site and its quaint cobbled streets, architecture, shopping, and food (option to stay for dinner at one of the many great cafes & restaurants there). We'll head back to hotel after dinner.

Day 3
Choose your activity before heading off to Unawatuna!
After breakfast, you'll have the choice to opt for one of two activities (both 90 minutes long) – either surfing lesson from an experienced instructor or a yoga class in a beautiful tropical Yoga Shala. In the afternoon, get ready for your first beach experience in southern Sri Lanka. We'll all head to Jungle Beach, which is a hidden beach in Unawatuna, which is great for swimming, sunbathing and relaxing amidst a tropical scenery.
Then in the evening, we'll go to the main Unawatuna beach which is a bay-shaped tourist-friendly beach with a vibrant evening and nightlife scene, having great cafes and shacks. Enjoy your beach time soaking in the bustling vibes, before we head back to hotel after dinner.

Day 4
Travel to Mirissa
After breakfast, checkout and head to Mirissa, a vibrant beach town in the south to enjoy a full day and evening of sun, sand and water. Mirissa is one of the most gorgeous towns in the island, and the lively beach is well known for its natural beauty, swimming, surfing, water sports, and also for its beach shacks, cafes, restaurants and bars creating a festive and lively atmosphere.

Day 5
Drive to Yala National Park
After two days of sun-soaking, it's time to enjoy amidst wilderness! Today, we'll set out for Yala National park, where you'll get to enjoy a half-day guided wildlife safari to see wild elephants, leopards, sloth bears, water buffaloes, crocodiles, wild monkeys and more. Later, head to the hotel in Yala, freshen up and set out for a dinner at a nearby place, which is quite popular for local cuisine.

Day 6
Continue your journey to Ella
Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, before we check out and carry on with our road trip to Ella. Once we reach, you'll check-in to the hotel, have lunch and set out for visiting the historical Nine Arches Bridge followed by climbing Little Adam’s Peak, a 45-60 minute climb to view one of the most majestic sunsets in Sri Lanka.
We'll return back to Ella for dinner at one of several popular restaurants where one can easily meet travellers from around the world.

Day 7
Enjoy a scenic train ride from Ella to Kandy
After breakfast, check out and drive to Ella train station to embark upon one of the world’s most famous and scenic train rides across tea-carpeted mountains and lush countryside villages. 4-5 hours later disembark in the town of Hatton where your driver awaits. Lunch is included after train ride followed by a drive to the historical city of Kandy, which is yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site and the capital of Buddhism in Sri Lanka.
Later, you'll be taken to the hotel in Kandy, where you can unwind and relax, after a long day!

Day 8
Exploring Kandy
The morning is free for you to explore and tick off all that's there in your travel bucketlist. In the afternoon, you can head out to visit the local craft centers in the town, and then, go to the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, the most famous Buddhist temple in Sri Lanka, for a guided session and also experience the evening festivities first hand, a unique and lively experience like no other. Enjoy dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to the hotel.

Day 9
Spend a day in the town of Habarana
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and we'll drive to he village town of Habarana. Today, we'll explore and experience authentic Sri Lankan village life. Travel in a tractor across rural landscapes, then enjoy a ride in a local catamaran on a beautiful lake while viewing tropical birds and animals native to the region. After that, visit the home of a local farmer on the banks of the lake where the lady of the house shows you how to make roti and coconut sambol, the popular local dish of the village people. Finally, a delicious traditional lunch is served to top off the local village experience, one that’s not found in most guidebooks. In the evening, we'll return back to the hotel where you can unwind and relax, or just hop out to explore more by yourself, pick up souvenirs or get a drink with strangers!

Day 10
Exploring Sigriya before bidding Goodbye to Sri Lanka
Wake up early and, with a packed breakfast, drive to Sigiriya, which is yet another UNESCO World Heritage Site considered by many as the eighth Wonder of the World. A palace and a fortress built by King Kashyapa in 5th Century AD, the site has the remains of an upper Sky Palace sited on the flat top of a 200m rock, an architectural masterpiece. Climb to the top and enjoy majestic views of the surroundings.
Later, we'll head back to the hotel, and you can refresh and check out. We'll drop you off at the Colombo Airport from where you can board your flight. In case you wish to stay back, we can drop you at Negombo, and you can carry on with your journey.

Unawatuna/Galle
Located on a quiet scenic hill just a stone’s throw away from popular Unawatuna beach, this property offers a good mix of old world charm and modern day comforts. Surrounded by lush tropical greenery overlooking the blue waters of the Indian Ocean, this boutique villa has a swimming pool, outdoor garden, ocean view balconies and organic farm among its amenities. An oasis of beauty and tranquility as its tucked away from the main commercial area, but close enough to be able to explore everything in the area by foot.
Mirissa
A boutique hotel close to the beach as well as the main town of Mirissa and its surrounding cafes, restaurants and bars.Please note that Mirissa is only 45 minutes from Unawatuna. Accommodation for the fourth night can be in Unawatuna only. This will vary from tour to tour.
Yala
Enjoy a breath-taking morning sunrise in the wild from the comforts of your hotel room balcony while sipping on fresh Ceylon tea. Located close to Yala National Park, this boutique hotel offers great open sceneries in a raw and natural environment. Traditional four poster king sized beds fitted with soft cotton sheets enhance the luxury of your stay. Close enough to some of Ella's most popular landmarks, such as Nine Arches Bridge, Ella Rock, Little Adam’s peak, Kinellan Tea Factory, Mahamevnawa Buddhist Monastery and Ella town, this is a convenient spot to explore the best of Ella from.
Kandy
Comfortable hotel with pool in a centrally located part of the city offering a great mix of traditional Kandyan culture and modern day amenities. Enjoy the comfort of the air-conditioned rooms and warm Sri Lankan hospitality as you unwind.
Dambulla
End the tour with a final night in a boutique property around Dambulla, a town near Sigiriya. Comfortable accommodation with a pool to relax and located just a short distance to Sigiriya Lion’s Rock.
