Itinerary
Day 1
Arrival in Siem Reap
Welcome to Cambodia - a country that's oozing with cultural richness! Our guide will be there at the airport to receive you and then transfer you to the hotel, where you can freshen up and chill until everyone arrives. This afternoon we’ll have a really cool walking tour of the town to show why this place is on every travel list ever made! In the evening, to introduce you to the mouth-watering Khmer cuisine, we’ll have our official welcome meal before a few drinks in the aptly named Pub Street.

Day 2
Explore the Kampong Phluk Eco Village
Today, after breakfast, we’ll head out for a great social enterprise and learn the traditional leather art, taught by kids who want to train in this skill. After lunch at an NGO school, we’ll head to the fascinating Kampong Phluk Eco-tourism village to learn how the Khmer people are embracing modern advances in tourism to positively benefit their communities. We’ll take a trip on the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia to visit the housing communities on stilts and see how these people live their day to day on the lake itself.

Day 3
Exploring the Angkor Temple Complex
We know that you've been dying to take a walk down the lanes of history - and today is that day! We'll start off early, to experience a truly unforgettable sunrise at the Angkor Wat. Later, we’ll visit the other stunning temples and learn how and why they’re one of the seven wonders of the world. Lunch will be at a restaurant inside the complex before we head back to our hotel to relax around the pool, or head into town to shop at the markets.

Day 4
Spending a day with the elephants at Kulen
If you are an elephant lover, then today's gonna be an unforgettable day for you, as we take a drive north to the leading ethical elephant sanctuary in the Kulen area. You’ll learn about how the elephants got here, the care and love they're showered with, and view them foraging in their natural surroundings.

Day 5
Travel to Phnom Penh
Today, we'll head south to Cambodia’s capital city of Phnom Penh. On the way, we’ll stop for lunch in a popular restaurant and we’ll arrive at the Monsoon Bassac Hotel in the city in the early evening. Once we’ve checked in and freshened up, we’ll take a quick walk down the river and then, sit out for a fun filled night with group dinner.

Day 6
Getting to know more about Phnom Pehn's history
The capital city holds immense importance, and Phnom Penh has a fascinating past, from incredible rulers to the horrors of the Pol Pot regime. We'll show you the Royal Palace and take you for a walk around the Killing Fields. Rest assured, you'll have ample scope to soak in the history of Cambodia.

Day 7
Time to soak in the sunshine by the beaches!
It has been almost a week of exploring history and heritage, and now it's time to head off to the beaches. After breakfast, we'll transfer to the town of Sihanoukville to catch our boat to the beautiful island of Koh Rong. Once you reach the island, we’ll get checked-in to the Bunnan Bungalows, and then, you can just kick-back and enjoy the beach, the crystal-clear warm water, and the cool cocktails.

Day 8 & Day 9
Living the beach life to the fullest!
These two days are for you to relax and unwind. The beach is simply too nice to leave but for those who want to venture out, there are activities on the island or on the water that can be organized for you, just speak to your guide and let them arrange the best available discounts. Snorkeling and scuba diving options are available - so you can tickle the adventurous soul in you as well.

Day 10
Return back to Phnom Penh
You have got a free morning to get prepared and perhaps one last dip in the sea before we travel back to Phnom Penh. A quick speedboat, then a van will have us back to the Monsoon Bassac Hotel. You'll get plenty of time to freshen up before we head out to a popular local restaurant for our final night group dinner, which’s usually followed by a few drinks to end the trip in style! In case you wish to go for some souvenir shopping, you can carry on with that as well.

Day 11
Time to bid 'goodbye' to Cambodia
Like all good things, this trip all ends today! Join your jing-bang for a breakfast together, before you take a few groupfies and exchange contact details. Later, you can head off to take your flight back home or embark on a new journey. If you need help with any onward travel your guide will be more than happy to help.
