About The Package
South Africa is one of the most ethnically diverse countries in Africa continent and also known as "The Rainbow Nation". Go Discovers Abroad provides the opportunity to work with wild and tame animals as well as assisting the local reserve staff in Port Elizabeth. Volunteers will work on every aspect at the placement such as predator management, game capture and harvesting of wild plants. Volunteers will work in tandem with the local staff to improve the living condition of animals at the reserve. Volunteers will work with Big 5 while at the reserve.
Volunteers will help with relocation of the animals and also help with feeding and breeding. Volunteers who have knowledge of vet will also help in disease prevention. Volunteers will also help in cleaning the reserve, dam repair and alien vegetation control.
Volunteers are welcome to suggest any ideas about the betterment in the functionality of the reserve and how that could improve the condition of animals. Volunteers must be mentally and physically fit in order to join this program as it will be a tough task. The activities and roles of the volunteers would vary as it depends on various external factors.
Volunteers will start their work early in the morning and will work till afternoon and are free during evenings to explore the surrounding area along with other volunteers.

25% cancellation charges if cancelled 60 days before the program start date.
50% cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days before th program start date.
No refund if cancelled within 30 days of program start date.
