About The Package

With a warm climate throughout the year, the Island boasts lush, unspoiled tropical rainforests and crystal clear waters with pristine beaches for you to relax and enjoy. Samui has many fine international restaurants, hotels and shopping for all tastes. However, in a poor fishing community on the South of the island lies a school that is in desperate need for English teachers to help in furthering the quality of education for the children and community. Immerse yourself in Thai culture and work with the school to create a fun and safe environment to learn. Work with our team on developing the area, from painting to gardening. You will well and truly getting stuck into our island project. In between the project let us take you on an extensive island tour where you will experience the best and beautiful of what Koh Samui has to offer.

A typical day of Teaching

8:00am: Leave your accommodation after an early traditional Thai breakfast, take a quick 2 minute walk through a coconut plantation to arrive at the school to meet and greet the children and their parents.

9:00am: Begin teaching activities that range from fun and interactive basic English vocabulary, sports, painting and colouring, spelling & grammar. Work with the Thai teachers and our volunteer team to work alongside the Thai curriculum in an engaging and fun atmosphere.

11:30am: Join the other teachers and children for lunch.

12:30pm: Continue your teaching activities.

3:00pm: Participate in after school activities, help students prepare for departure and head back to your accommodation.

Evening: Spend time discussing and preparing for the next day.

Weekend Tour - Optional Add On

Saturday Ang Thong Marine Park

Our snorkeling, sightseeing and kayaking tour to Ang Thong National Marine Park visits some of the 42 islands that make up the this beautiful archipelago. Ang Thong, translated as Golden Basin, is a protected area featuring dramatic lime stone massifs, tropical rainforest and deserted beaches. Made popular in the novel and movie “The Beach”, this beautiful group of islands boasts some of the most impressive scenery in SE Asia. Koh Wao is in the northern most part of Ang Thong Marine Park and remains much quieter than the snorkeling sites around. There is a variety of soft corals, fascinating underwater caves and swim-through’s around Koh Wao, formed over centuries of coastal erosion, which you can explore during your time snorkeling. There is a huge diversity of marine life due to Ang Thong’s protected status as a national park, which provides a fantastic opportunity for taking some underwater pictures. Koh Mae Koh, or Mother Island, is the next stop after Koh Wao and cruising through some of the marine park in our speed boat. Koh Mae Koh boasts the beautiful emerald lake, an inland salt water lake, and a sensational view point over the whole marine park. Song Pee Nong beach is our next stop where you will have plenty of time to relax on the beach and explore the rugged coastline of Koh Paluay by sea kayak, where you may find a couple of hidden caves amongst the granite overhangs.

Be amazed by the variety of Samui 's nature, discover carefully hidden cultural sanctuaries, learn about traditional Thai professions and go wild under the waterfalls. You'll be surprised with the magnificent views over the gulf of Thailand.
