Chennai
Nalvaravu – means Welcome in Tamil!!
Upon arrival at Chennai airport or railway station, our representative would give you a warm welcome and would transfer you to the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for city tour of Chennai, capital of Tamil Nadu. Chennai has a long and interesting history and cultural trail from thousands of years. In city tour, visit Fort St. George, Santhome Church, Parry’s corner, Guindy snake park, Valluvarkottam and Kapaleeshwar temple. Enjoy a stroll on Marina beach, second longest urban beach in the world. You can also go for shopping in Tyagaraya Nagar market as Chennai is famous for silk items. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Chennai-Mahabalipuram (60 Km / appx. 2 hrs.)
After breakfast, at around 10 am, proceed to Mahabalipuram by East Coast road. En route you can visit MGM beach resort for recreational activities. Later visit crocodile park. Then you would be visiting Dakshin Chitra, a traditional resort that showcases culture and rural life of South India.
Mahabalipuram is famous for temples portraying events of Mahabharata. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram, check in at the hotel. In the evening visit the beach. In Mahabalipuram town, you can see artisans making idols from the stone. Upon arrival at Mahabalipuram, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for tour of Mahabalipuram. Visit Arjuna’s penance, Five Rathas and famous shore temple. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Mahabalipuram / Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry (100 Km / appx. 3 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Pondicherry. Pondicherry is an Union territory and was ruled by France for hundreds of years. Upon arrival at Pondy, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for city tour of Pondy. Visit Marine drive and see buildings and houses of French architecture. In the city, also visit Vinayaka temple, Pondicherry museum, French war memorial, Aurobindo ashram and Auroville township. You can also visit quiet beaches in and around Pondicherry. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Pondicherry-Thanjavur (170 Km / appx. 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to historical town of Thanjavur via Chidambaram. Upon arrival at Chidambaram, see ancient Chidambaram temple, dedicated to Lord Shiva. In Chidambaram,, you can find number of families engaged in ornament making business.
Later proceed to Thanjavur. Ruled by various dynasties of Cholas, Pandyas, Nayakas, Marathas and finally by British rulers, Thanjavur is an important center of religion, art and architecture. Many great living Chola Temples which are UNESCO heritage monuments, are in and around Thanjavur. Upon arrival at Thanjavur, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for tour of Thanjavur. Visit famous Brahadeeshwara temple, Chndra Bhagwan temple, Lord Murugan temple and other famous temples, known for their amazing architecture and display of arts and culture. Thanjavur / Thanjavur-Ramewshwaram (240 Km / appx. 6 hrs.)
After breakfast, you can visit some other temples and monuments in Thanjavur. Later proceed to Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is one of the holiest places in India. It is believed that Lord Rama built a bridge from Rameshwaram to Sri Lanka, to rscue his wife Seeta. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of time free to relax. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Rameshwaram
After breakfast, go for tour of Rameshwaram. Visit Ramanathswamy temple, one of the 12 holy Jyotirlingas in India. Also visit temple tanks, Dhanushkodi, the southernmost tip of Rameshwaram. You can also see Pamban bridge, an engineering marvel. The railway bridge opens in 2 parts, when a bigger ship is going to pass from the creek. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Rameshwaram-Madurai (170 km / appx. 3 hrs.)
After breakfast, at around 10 am, proceed to Madurai. Located on the banks of river Vaigai, Madurai is an important cultural as well as industrial city in Tamil Nadu.
Upon arrival at Madurai, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for city tour of Madurai. Visit famous Meenakshi temple, Mariaaman temple and other famous temples in the town. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Madurai-Kanyakumari (245 Km / appx. 6 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland of India. Kanyakumari is situated on the confluence of the Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. Upon arrival at Kanyakumari, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, watch the spectacular sunset from Rock memorial. Overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Kanyakumari / Trip of Kovalam beach
Today see the fantastic sunrise from sea shore area. Later have your breakfast and visit Kumari Mata temple in Kanyakumari. Then proceed to Kovalam beach in Kerala. Visit various beaches like Light house beach, Ashoka beach etc. Here you can also enjoy water sports activities. Back to Kanyakumari and overnight stay at hotel. (B)

Departure from Kanyakumari
Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. Later transfer to Kanyakumari/Nagercoil railkway station or Trivandrum airport as per your onward connection. (B)
