About The Package
Jaisalmer desert festival is organized every year in the month of February and it is one of the famous festivals among tourists who visit Rajasthan. Jaisalmer, famously known as “The Golden City”, is famous for its fort (The Golden Fort), havelis (palaces) and desert. If you are looking to have a real desert experience, visit to Jaisalmer is a must to do!! The rulers of the erstwhile princely state constructed beautiful havelis (palaces) for themselves and for their ministers. Visiting and seeing these palaces would be a great experience. The desert festival showcases the rich cultural heritage of the region. Various activities are organized in the festival including folk dances, singing performances, ancient arts, culture and traditions.

Arrival at Jaisalmer
Namaste!! Welcome to Incredible India!!
Once you arrive at Jaisalmer, our smiling representative would give you a hearty welcome and transfer you to your booked hotel. After getting refreshed, visit Jaisalmer fort, known as the “Golden Fort” and one of the very few living forts. From this fort, get amazing views of the town. Inside the fort, visit various mahal (palaces), temples and beautifully carved buildings. In the evening, visit the fair ground and enjoy various cultural shows and folk dances. Overnight stay at Jaisalmer.

2
Jaisalmer / Visit to Sand Dunes
After breakfast, attend the various desert festival programmes and shows in and around the city. These shows include camel races, local and rural sports competition, folk dances and much more. While enjoying the desert festival, see Salim Singh ji ki Haveli and Nathmaji ki Haveli which are one of the beautiful heritage buildings in Jaisalmer. At around 3 pm, proceed to Sam Sand Dunes. Enjoy sunset camel safari followed by dinner. Later back to your hotel in Jaisalmer for an overnight stay. (B/D)

Departure from Jaisalmer
Morning time is free to see some interesting places like Tazia tower (on your own) or you can visit the desert festival (on your own) or do some shopping in the city. We would transfer you to railway station as per your train schedule. (B)
