About The Package
Go Discover Abroad provides the opportunity to travel and volunteer in Costa Rica any time of the year. Costa Rica is situated in Central America and is famous for its biodiversity in its eco tourism and wildlife and many tourists visit Costa Rica just to expeirence the life style and the natural beauty of this country.
We provide volunteering work in childcare centers, community centers and orphanages in capital city San Jose. Our placement support homeless children and provide them the opportunity to live a better life in future.
Volunteer's Role: As a voluneter you will work along side children and provide them love and care as well as focus on each children growth. You will have full support of local staff at the placement. Volunteers can organize playful activities for the children, provide love and affection and help the local staff in streamlining the process at the placement.
Volunteers work Monday to Friday 5 days a week for up to 5 - 6 hours a day. Our program is open all year round and volunteers can join our program from any Monday of the month.

1
Arrival in San Jose
Upon arrival at San Jose International Airport you will be greeted by our representative who would take you to the accommodaiton. On this day, you can relax or take a walk around your accommodation.

Orientation about program
After breakfast you would be given orientation about your program placement. Our representative will accompany you to the placement vanue and will introduce you the placement staff where you will start your program. Volunteers usually work 5 - 6 hours in a day.

Volunteer Work
Volunteers will travel to the program placement along with other volunteers and you will work with the children. As a voluneter you will work along side children and provide them love and care as well as focus on each children growth. You will have full support of local staff at the placement. Trip to Arenal Volcano & Hot Springs
Volunteers will leave San Jose early in the morning to visit Arenal Volcano, one of the most active volconoes in American continent. You will have unforgettable experience because you will feel ground tremble under your feet and even trace of lava out of volcanoes. After that we will take you to the nearby hot springs where you can relax and feel energized. We will head back to San Jose around evening on same day.

Explore Tortuga Island
Volunteers will enjoy their Sunday and relax in blue water surrounded by green mountains and white sand. Tortuga island is famous for swimming, snorkelling and Calypso's perfect meals. Transportation from and to San Jose is included, Breakfast and BBQ Lunch with white wine is included in program so volunteers can focus on sightseeing, sunbathing, diving, exploring, swimming, eating, drinking, and relaxing.

Volunteer will continue with their program placement from Monday to Friday.

Departure from San Jose
Transfer to San Jose International Airport as per your flight schedule.

25% cancellation charges if cancelled 60 days before the program start date.
50% cancellation charges if cancelled 30 days before th program start date.
