Arrival at Kochi

Welcome to Incredible India!! Kerala, God’s Own Country, is a perfect and beautiful destination to spend a quality time in India. Once you arrive at Kochi airport, our ever smiling representative would give you a warm welcome. Take a sip of refreshing fresh coconut water and transfer to the hotel. After getting refreshed, we would take you for a panoramic tour of Kochi. Kochi is the most important commercial city in Kerala and is an important port of India located on Arabian Sea. Kochi has the history from ancient times and it was an important spice trading centre in India. Once a princely state before independence, Kochi was also ruled by many dynasties and counties prior to it. In this sightseeing tour, visit Marine Drive, Fort Kochi,Chinese fishing nets, Santa Cruz Basilica, Jewish Synagogue (except Fri/Sat), Mattanacherry Palace (except Friday) and other places of tourist attractions if time permits. In the evening, at around 5 pm, see the marvelous Kathakali dance performance.
Back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Kochi-Munnar (140 Km / Appx. 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, at around 10 am, proceed to Munnar. Munnar is one of the most sought after hill stations in South India. It is situated in the Western Ghats at 1600 m above sea level. The hill station is famous for tea plantations, waterfalls, wildlife and pleasant weather. Upon arrival at Munnar, check in at the hotel. Later in the afternoon, you would be going to visit various scenic points in Munnar. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Munnar
After breakfast, go for scenic tours of Munnar and surrounding spots. Visit Mettupatty dam, Devikulam, Tea museum, Photo point, Echo pint and other tourist spots. We can also arrange short trekking tours for you. Back to the hotel by evening and overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Munnar-Thekkady (115 Km / Appx. 3 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to another beautiful destination, Thekkady. Thekkady is extremely rich in flora and fauna and range of variety of birds. Upon arrival at this captivating destination, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, you would be going to visit spice plantations in Thekkady. Overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Thekkady / Trip to Periyar
At around 6 am, you would be proceeding to Periyar wildlife sanctuary. While enjoying the boat ride in Lake Periyar, you can see the variety of animals in their natural habitat. Back to the hotel by 9.30 am and enjoy your breakfast. Later go for sightseeing of Thekkady. Visit various sightseeing palces in Thekkady. We can also arrange for nature walks, planataion tours and trekking tour. In the evening, see the Kadathanadan Kalari Centre to see the martial arts performance. Back to the hotel and overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Thekkady-Alleppey Houseboat (150 Km / Appx. 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Alleppey, another beautiful backwater town. Upon arrival, check in at the houseboat. Staying in the houseboat in Alleppey is really unique, great and refreshing experience. Enjoy your lunch specially prepared for you on the boat. The houseboat would start sailing in the backwater after lunch. See the beauty of backwaters as the houseboat sails through it. In the night, enjoy delicious dinner on board. Overnight stay at the houseboat. (B/L/D)

Alleppey-Kovalam (165 Km / Appx. 4 hrs.)
After breakfast, proceed to Kovalam, one o the most famous beach destination of India. Kovalam is located on the coast of Arabian Sea. It is famous for its nice, sandy and clean beaches and safe waters for swimming. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Later in the rest of the day and evening, you can roam around on the beach. (B)

Kovalam
There are many leisure activities in Kovalam. You can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, water sports, cruises, and much more. You can take special Ayurveda treatments or attend cultural shows also.
Today we would take you to see the beaches and other places of tourist interest in Kovalam. Hawa beach, Ashoka Beach and Light House baeach are the main beaches in Kovalam. You can also visit nearby beach of Poovar. Later proceed to sightseeing of Trivandrum. In this capital town of Kerala, you can see Raja Ravi Verma Art Gallery, Shri Padmanabhaswamy Temple (form outside). Back to Kovalam and overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Full day trip of Kanyakumari (100 Km / appx. 3 hrs. one way)
After breakfast, at around 10 am, start for day trip of Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of mainland of India and it is located on the confluence of the Indian Ocean, the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal. In Kanyakumari, visit Kumari Mata Temple and famous rock memorial from where you can see the spectacular views of the sunset. Later back to Kovalam and overnight stay at the hotel. (B)

Departure from Kovalam
After breakfast, transfer to Thiruvanantapuram airport or railway station as per your onward connection. (B)
